I was impressed by the attention to detail and the value for money. The prices were affordable, especially considering the separate bedroom in the rooms. Secondly, the location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions. Lastly, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I also appreciated the fact that breakfast was included.
I had an alright experience.

The free hot breakfast was a plus! Location is good too, right on the main freeway, close to malls and such. Staff is friendly.
Too expensive for what you get. I've had cheaper rooms at nicer hotels right downtown, but they book up fast. All of Sakatoon's hotels are expensive. Will book at a bed and breakfast next time.

Breakfast was good
Parents did not supervise their kids at the pool and they were running up and on the waterslide, wearing dirty shoes in the pool area, etc. The hot tub was so hot we couldn't dip our feet into it. The pool and area was dirty. Two loud groups of people smoke and drank off the second floor area. Someone in the room beside us started barfing at about 6:00 am. The waitress for breakfast was fantastic, she just couldn't keep up, so the table was sticky and dirty from previous customers.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a newly renovated hotel in Saskatoon. My purpose was to explore the city for a weekend, and the Northwoods Inn & Suites was the perfect choice. The room exceeded my expectations with its fresh new look, including a comfortable bed and modern furniture. The breakfast offered a good variety of options served straight from the kitchen. my experience was enjoyable and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Nothing, it was the oldest and dirtiest place I have stayed. The heaters in the rooms did not work, we are pretty sure the bedding was not changed, and the front desk was rude when we expressed our concerns.
I was concerned that the deadbolts on the doors did not line up so basically they were useless.

Price, location
Lack of cleanliness, smelled bad, paint peeling in washroom, shower ran between scalding hot and icy cold, staff ignored "do not disturb" tag, "free breakfast" was very poor quality, was hassled by front desk while preparing to check out, required hold on credit card to secure against room damage, was given room close to highway even though many rooms in quieter part of hotel were available, no area to store luggage

The location was the only good thing about the hotel. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The basic amenities in the room were satisfactory.
The room was not well-insulated and lacked soundproofing.

Quiet. Staff was courteous. Free newspaper.
Hair in bathroom, on floor and in tub. Lumpy beds. Shower water temp went randomly from cold to steaming hot! This was while you are showering! Sticky dirty breakfast tables. The breakfast was good, but served cold. The one and only waitress looked frazzled and was not organized. Cleared tables, but never wiped them! Will never stay here again.

Liked everything.

I liked the free breakfast deal. I liked the free cable. I liked the cleanliness of the rooms. I liked the customer service
I didn't like the fact that my room stunk like cigars after I asked for a non-smoking room. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for using the phone. I didn't like their overly priced items in the cafeteria ( I think a dollar for an apple is ridiculous and 50 cents for take-out is outrageous!)

A decent place if all you need is a night's sleep. If staying for a few days, pay a few dollars more and go elsewhere.
Carpets were the same as when I stayed there in 1989 (known as the Imperial 400). Also, if you are 6ft or taller, you'll have to shower on your knees - watch out for the ceiling in the bathroom as it's sagging.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the room was perfect, with everything tidied and restocked on time. The hotel facilities were great, especially the fabulous breakfast that was well cooked and flavorful. The staff was courteous and helpful, making my experience even better. the parking was decent and I had no trouble finding a spot. Not to mention, the location was convenient with easy access to transportation and nearby activities.
Everything is what I need and want.

Had excellent complementary breakfast in cafe with very good service. Very good location near centre of City.
Website says that it is newly renovated but air conditioner didn't function properly & carpet had cigarette burns in it but was classified as a non-smoking room. Advertising should accurately state what they are offering to travelers. Room with two queens had towels for two people not three.
